Grace is unwell, so we have an abbreviated contribution for this issue –
On their latest holiday, Andre and Helene were fortunate enough to get to know a bit more about New Zealand. The cruise took them around the North and South Islands visiting many ports along the way. Outings in Napier, Blenheim, Akaroa and Dunedin were most enjoyable. The weather was mostly cold but very well behaved on the day marked for visiting Fiordland National Park. We were able to sail into three sounds, Dusky, Doubtful and Milford as it was clear enough to do so. They are all magnificent, but the grandeur of Milford is overwhelming. The journey continued to Melbourne, Burnie in Tasmania, Eden and Sydney. Helene stayed on for four more days to have a lovely visit there with her sister.
