The painting of the Church ceiling has been completed,
and it looks very good. Thank you to David Hansen, and
to all who were involved in organising this. We greatly
appreciate a donation towards the cost from the Global
Mission church, and also a donation from a church
member. If anyone else would like to make a
contribution to the cost we would be very pleased to
accept. Contact any of the elders or Rosemarie
Dawson, our Treasurer.

Finance Committee, so a double thank you to you,
As a trial we had a morning tea before the service on the
first Sunday of the month. We have decided not to
continue with this, but to have our usual cuppa after the
service, and of course, our Cafť Church on the third
Sunday of the month.
Three Churches working Group
The Working Group met on 11th July and some members
also attended a talk by Matthew Fox the previous week.
A subgroup, chaired by Matt Chapman, is beginning to
develop some structural options as to what our future
form might look like; these proposals will be presented
to the congregation once they have been further
developed. The next Combined Service will be held on
Sunday 29th September at Saint Andrews, Birkenhead.
Garden Working Bee
It has been decided that we should have a Springtime
Working Bee in the Church grounds.
( see Notices)
It would be great to have the garden area looking good
in time for the Floral Affair which will be held on
Saturday 19th October.
Church Council meetings
Council meetings will return to being held monthly. The
next meeting will be on Wednesday 21 st August.
