Thank you very much to everyone who took part in
the recent Working Bee – to those who gave their
time and energy to sprucing up the inside of the
Church, to those who provided excellent food for
morning tea and to those who donated to help pay
for the hire of the cleaning machine. It was a very
worthwhile morning and the Church looks good.
Thank you, Barbara, for organising this.
Twice a year members of the Community of Saint
Aidans go to North Shore Hospital to help some of
the patients attend the Hospital Chapel service. Our
dates for 2018 are Sunday 8 th April and Sunday 16 th
September. There will be a Training Session at
North Shore Hospital on Sunday 18 th March, and all
volunteers and potential volunteers are encouraged
to attend. More volunteers are always welcome for
this important activity – and if you haven’t seen the
Chapel, this is a good opportunity.
Lenten Studies are underway – they are being held
on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. The studies are looking at
‘Forgiveness’, and are based on the writings of
Marjorie Thompson. All are welcome.

Special Meeting of Congregation
There will be a special meeting of the congregation
during and after the service on Sunday 11 th March.
The purpose of this meeting is to update the
congregation on the activities of Task Force since
our retreat in September, and to receive and discuss
an Open Letter to the Congregation from David
Hansen, Chair of the Task Force. You can read this
letter elsewhere in ‘Informer’ or pick up a copy from
Church. It is very important that as many of the
congregation as possible attend and contribute to
this meeting. Please note the date in your calendar
or diary, and plan to be there.
